What information does RunGo collect, and how is it used?
RunGo collects basic profile data including email when a user create an account, this is used to for login communication directly with registered users. RunGo also collects general anonymized data that does not identify you in any way. This data is used to improve the quality of routes and make more routes available in the areas with the most users. When you use RunGo with your mobile device's GPS enabled, we automatically collect and process anonymous information about your actual location, using GPS signals sent by your mobile device. RunGo uses this information to provide you with real-time tracking and statistics during your run. We may store the location information collected, along with the route name, time, and distance. This information is not tied to any personal identification or mobile device, and is used to improve the relevancy of the curated routes we offer.
By creating and posting routes, you generate content that other RunGo users may access. RunGo reserves the right to create runs based on user-generated routes. You can store your routes as long as you want to. If you decide to remove a route, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate the process. RunGo is not responsible for accuracy of runs. Roads and trails may change between the creation of a route and the time you run on it -- exercise caution and have a back-up plan when running a route.
Sharing on Third-Party Applications
If you choose to post, disclose, or otherwise share your run stats or route information on a third-party application or website, you need to comply with all the rules and regulations of the application or website. By choosing to share your route or run, you assume all responsibility for the information you disclose, if any. For instance, if you post a route starting from your place of residence, it will be visible on the application or website where you have chosen to share it. RunGo is not responsible for this voluntary sharing of information. We encourage caution and discretion in how you share your routes. RunGo cannot edit or remove shared posts on third-party applications or websites. If you need a post removed, please contact the relevant third-party application or website directly.
Health Kit Data (iOS only)
We access Health Kit's Heart Rate and Calories to display on RunGo. We do not share any Health Kit data with 3rd parties and do not use Health Kit data for any marketing purposes.
When you subscribe to RunGo, you authorize, manage, and pay for the subscription through iTunes, Google Play or Stripe. RunGo does not see or collect your personal information. All transactions are handled by the iTunes Store, Google Play Store or Stipe.
iTunes Subscriptions You can subscribe monthly or annually to RunGo Premium to access to our premium features. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the initial monthly or annual cost. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement;
- if Leaping Coyote Interactive, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information. What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by RunGo easily by uninstalling RunGo. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Terms of Service

This Terms of Service agreement (Agreement) is a legal agreement between you and Leaping Coyote Interactive Inc. (LCI) for the mobile application RunGo (RunGo). LCI is referred to as us, we and our in this Agreement. Our registered office is 1404-1233 W Cordova Street, Vancouver, BC. We are a company registered in British Columbia, Canada.
The terms below set out the Agreement between you and us for the download, installation, and use of RunGo, so please read this carefully. By downloading and using RunGo, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all of the terms in this Agreement, you should not download or use RunGo.
Health and Safety
RunGo's purpose is to make runners lives easier by providing voice navigation, but does not guarantee that all routes are accurate and/or up to date. LCI is not responsible for damages or injuries incurred due to inaccurate or outdated routes, or through elements outside of LCI's control, including but not limited to construction, new roads, weather, time of day, or other people. Exercise caution and make sure you give due consideration to your environment and do not put yourself at risk of injury or harm.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are of an appropriate fitness level to use RunGo. Exercise general common sense in determining whether you are of adequate physical condition to use RunGo. If you are in any doubt, please consult a doctor or physician.
Ownership of the App
RunGo is provided as is and on an as available basis without any representation, endorsement, or warranty of any kind, including but not limited to implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security, and/or accuracy.
We do not guarantee that the app will be (i) free of errors, viruses or bugs, or other defects; or (ii) that the app or any information displayed or distributed through the app or in the documentation will be accurate or complete; or (iii) that any defects in the app or documentation will be corrected.
You acknowledge that reliance on any such information shall be at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permissible by law, including in your local jurisdiction, we exclude all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage, including any liability or damage to any device or computer system. Our entire liability to you, and to the extent we can not exclude it, where permissible by law, shall be limited to the purchase price of the app.
In the event that Apple refunds you the purchase price in accordance with the iTunes terms of sale, then both Apple and we will have no further warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform with the foregoing warranty. As a condition of the refund, you are required to delete the app.
